Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Leasing Manager in Syracuse, NY to oversee leasing and marketing at the property alongside the Community Manager. You will lead the leasing team, develop strategic plans to achieve occupancy goals, and ensure excellent resident relations through effective leasing and renewal efforts.

Responsibilities include on-site attendance, enforcing leasing procedures, budgeting and marketing plan support, and coordinating events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in housing.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leasing Management.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Ensure staff leasing techniques are effective and leases are signed with proper documentation.
• Audit all lease files for policy adherence.
• Resolve resident complaints and maintain satisfaction.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs and communications.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
• Marketing Management and budget support.
• Supervise leasing events and renewal activities.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions and compete with properties.
