Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing and marketing at the property, working with the Community Manager to set goals and develop a strategic plan to achieve budgeted occupancy.

The Leasing Manager will lead the leasing team, drive effective leasing, marketing, and resident relations, and implement retention programs. Regular onsite presence and strong market knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leasing Management and achieving leasing goals.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Ensure staff leasing techniques are effective in obtaining closure and accurate documentation.
• Audit all lease files for policy adherence.
• Deal with resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs (events, promotions, newsletters).
• Effectively show, lease, and move-in prospective residents.
• Assist in developing annual marketing plan and budget.
• Implement marketing efforts and outreach to generate traffic.
• Monitor leasing/renewal progress and provide necessary support.
• Supervise events related to leasing and renewals.
• Maintain property knowledge and report market conditions.
