Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant for our newest lease-up. This role will collaborate directly with the property management team to provide residents with great service.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and 2 years of customer service experience in hospitality or multifamily real estate. Previous leasing experience is a plus, not a requirement. Strong customer service skills and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, conventional or multifamily real estate.
• Previous leasing experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• Strong customer service orientation and presentation skills.
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Onesite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective tenants and adhere to Fair Housing Standards.
• Accompany prospects to model apartments and explain layouts, amenities, and lease terms.
• Fill out lease forms and collect security deposits.
• Inspect property state and arrange essential maintenance.
• Compile list of available rental units and identify prospects.
• Manage leasing/renewal process from start to finish.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build resident relationships.
• Answer calls and voicemails professionally and promptly.
• Request applications and deposits per company policies and Fair Housing rules.
• Process applications (credit check, rental history) and update availability reports.
• Ensure apartment readiness for move-in on scheduled dates.
• Follow up with prospects to close business; refer if necessary.
• Monitor local market trends and keep property comparisons up to date.
