Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant responsible for leasing, retention, and occupancy while promoting resident satisfaction. Greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, and record visits with accuracy. You will handle applications, deposits, renewals, and payments, using the Yardi system and MS Office tools.

A flexible schedule including evenings/weekends is required. Ideal candidates have public-facing experience, strong English communication, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Two years of experience in customer service.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, MS Outlook, and community software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and file guest cards.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; communicate needs to Community Manager.
• Have the prospect complete the application and collect a deposit.
• Update availability report and process applications for approval.
• Assist in monitoring renewals; distribute renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness; gather market information.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and route to the Assistant Community Manager.
• Input lease details into the Yardi System and review before signatures.
• Assist the management team with other tasks.
• Consistently implement community policies.
