Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Leasing Associate to handle leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations. You will sign leases, manage applications, and act as landlord for property owners. The role includes clerical tasks, move-outs, and ensuring occupancy for housing programs.

Candidates should have tax credit leasing experience, customer service skills, and knowledge of HUD policies; MS Office proficiency is a plus. This is an on-site position with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years tax credit experience.
• Leasing, sales and/or customer experience.
• Knowledge of HUD rules and low-income housing policies.
• Excellent follow up skills via email and phone.
• Onsite experience a plus.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare show-ready model apartments and maintain clean work areas and offices.
• Complete lease forms and collect rental deposits.
• Market the property by answering questions, conducting tours and promoting amenities.
• Know lease terms, specifications and community policies.
• Manage move-outs per policy and ensure residents understand changes.
• Regularly monitor competing properties and market conditions.
• Develop resident retention programs under the Property Manager.
• Maintain resident and property files.
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
