Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to drive leasing, retention, and occupancy for the community while delivering outstanding customer service. You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packets, record visits, process applications, and help manage renewals with a focus on resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have public/sales experience, strong communication skills, Fair Housing knowledge, and proficiency with Yardi and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the public or in sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish bilingualism a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and community software such as Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria and questions.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits on reports and maintain guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing rules.
• Update availability and process applications for approval.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and follow up on notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and document market information.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and forward to the Assistant Community Manager.
• Type leases and input information into the Yardi System.
• Assist management with other tasks and uphold community policies.
