Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Leasing Consultant to be the first impression for residents. You will guide tours, close leases, and ensure a great move-in experience while supporting retention and occupancy goals.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, with familiarity in leasing software preferred. Responsibilities include showcasing amenities, coordinating events, and maintaining detailed resident files.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer service.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals.
• Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OneSite and Yield Star preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in including closing the sale and lease documents.
• Showcase community features and align with customer needs.
• Maintain a customer-focused attitude to ensure renewals.
• Use marketing and social media strategies to increase traffic.
• Support occupancy and retention goals by following up with residents.
• Handle issues with problem-solving and good judgment.
• Maintain knowledge of community and competitors to inform prospects.
• Foster positive resident relations with timely responses.
• Prepare lease documents and related records with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with team to plan resident events.
• Assist in other projects as needed.
