Job summary

Camden Property Trust is seeking a Leasing Consultant to be the first impression for potential and current residents. You will manage tours, close leases, and ensure a smooth move-in experience while highlighting community features that meet residents’ needs.

The role emphasizes strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork to drive occupancy, renewals, and exceptional resident experiences. Some weekend work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in including closing the lease and inspecting units.
• Showcase community features and relate them to customer needs.
• Maintain renewal efficiency with current residents.
• Support occupancy and retention goals by following up with prospects and residents.
• Collaborate with team on resident events.
