Job summary

Cardinal Group is seeking a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) in Colorado to deliver high quality customer service to residents and drive occupancy through proactive leasing and pre-leasing of available units. The role requires teamwork, a 20-hour weekly schedule, and flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a degree program with at least 6 credit hours.
• Completed at least one year at college or university.
• Maintain minimum 2.5 GPA; annual verification.
• Current or future leaseholder of the community.
• Live on designated community floor as assigned.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Available to work ~20 hours per week, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training.
• Greet prospective clients and present community features.
• Close the sale and follow up on inquiries.
• Complete lease applications and documentation.
• Pass third party leasing shops and obtain CWoL certification.
• Maintain lease file documentation and audits.
• Keep tour path clean for positive first impressions.
• Demonstrate professionalism with team, residents, and vendors.
• Assist with community events and other projects.
• Participate in Cardinal U training; on-call responsibilities.
• Work evenings and weekends.
