Job summary

Cardinal Group seeks a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) to support resident services and occupancy goals. You will assist with front desk tasks and leasing activities while completing required training in Cardinal Way of Leasing.

This on-site role requires evenings and weekends, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. You must be enrolled in a degree program (minimum 6 credits) and have completed at least one year of college with a 2.5 GPA or higher.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program with at least 6 credits.
• Must have completed at least one year of college.
• GPA of 2.5 or higher; annual verification.
• Must live on designated community floor.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Approximately 20 hours per week; evenings and weekends.
• Cardinal U training and Cardinal Way of Leasing certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Perform Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training and certification.
• Warmly greet prospects, answer calls, determine needs, present community and homes, and close the sale.
• Complete lease applications and maintain lease file documentation.
• Keep tour path clean for a positive first impression.
• Assist with community events and other projects as assigned.
• Work on-call; evenings and weekends as required.
