Job summary

Freeman Webb Company is seeking an Assistant Manager to support leasing and property operations at a Tennessee community. You will greet prospective residents, demonstrate the community, verify applications, prepare leases, and assist with marketing and administrative tasks under the Community Manager.

The role also involves training new staff, handling rent postings, preparing reports, and supporting retention efforts through newsletters and events.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leasing ability and strong leadership.
• Thorough knowledge of community policies and procedures.
• Proficient with on-site computer hardware and software.
• Excellent communication with prospects and residents.
• Ability to tour apartments on multiple floors or varied terrain.

Responsibilities

• Handle leasing activities: greet the public, answer phones, demonstrate model/community, verify residency applications, prepare leases.
• Execute marketing tasks, call-backs, and prepare promotional materials and weekly overviews.
• Post rents, prepare deposits, write work orders, and inspect vacated apartments for security deposits.
• Train new staff, prepare lease renewals, and assist Community Manager with reports.
• Perform off-site marketing calls, analyze market data, and assist with special marketing projects.
