Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in leasing, marketing, and resident relations. You will handle advertising, show units, screen applicants, and maintain financial records using Yardi.

Strong communication and a team mindset are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred; fair housing certification or willingness to obtain; English proficiency with Spanish as a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires strong verbal and written communication.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• English proficiency required; bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing advertising materials.
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels of comparable units in the surrounding area.
• Present creative leasing and marketing ideas.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and representatives of other companies.
• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria and secure a deposit.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals (credit check, rental history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals and follow up on renewal notices.
