Job summary

Cardinal Group in Arlington, TX is seeking a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) to deliver high-quality customer service to residents and prospects. This role supports leasing activity, conducts tours, and assists with pre-leasing and occupancy goals.

You will work roughly 20 hours per week, evenings and weekends, live on-site where required, and participate in training such as Cardinal Way of Leasing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be enrolled in a degree program with a minimum of 6 credits.
• Must have completed at least one year at enrolled college/university.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA; annual verification.
• Must be a current or future leaseholder of the community.
• Must live on designated community floor as assigned.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Available for about 20 hours per week, evenings and weekends.
• Live and embody Cardinal culture and core values.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Handle Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training.
• Greet prospects, answer calls, determine needs, present community and homes, sell features/benefits, close the sale, and follow up.
• Complete all lease applications and paperwork.
• Pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified.
• Maintain lease file documentation and participate in audits.
• Keep tour path clean for positive first impressions.
• Exhibit professional attitude with team, residents, and vendors.
• Assist with community events and other projects as assigned.
• Participate in Cardinal U training and on-call duties.
• Work evenings and weekends as required.
