Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager who supports the Community Manager and helps with leasing, marketing, and resident relations. This role focuses on maintaining financial records, processing applications, and coordinating with the leasing team to ensure smooth property operations.

You will interact with residents and applicants, prepare advertising materials, show units, and manage rent collection, notices, and lease paperwork using Yardi.

Qualifications

• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Apartment management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing advertising materials.
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels in the surrounding area.
• Present creative leasing and marketing ideas.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents and applicants.
• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria and by using guest cards.
