Job summary

Madison Apartment Group is seeking a friendly Leasing Consultant to be the first point of contact for prospective and current residents. You will guide tours, qualify prospects, prepare lease documents, and help ensure smooth move-ins while supporting a positive community experience.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years in sales or leasing, strong customer service, and solid communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a CRM system (Yardi preferred) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales/leasing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM/Yardi experience preferred.
• High School Diploma required; Real Estate license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and welcoming environment.
• Lead property tours, show vacant units, and close leases.
• Handle rentals, move-ins, and lease documentation.
• Plan and participate in resident functions and events.
• Maintain market knowledge and prospect generation via ads.
• Manage resident service requests with maintenance.
• Inspect models, vacancies, and grounds; report needs.
• Manage site social media and resident records.
• Complete and verify lease applications; notify decisions.
• Organize leases and paperwork.
