Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Leasing Associate to coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move-in packages to ensure a smooth onboarding.

You will inspect show units, stay informed on market conditions, design marketing plans, manage on-site software like OneSite and Yardi, and support renewal

Qualifications

• Experience with leasing activities and processing applications.
• Understanding of credit checks and background screening processes.
• Ability to greet prospects, conduct tours, and finalize leases.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours and show apartments, process applications, credit and background checks, prepare lease and move-in package, and ensure smooth move-in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and ensure move-in readiness; coordinate with maintenance for outstanding items.
• Stay informed about market conditions and competitor activity; develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic (Craigslist, Facebook, email, etc.) and follow community plans.
• Track availability and leasing activities using on-site software; manage resident data and demographics.
• Ensure show units meet company standards; communicate maintenance needs and prepare leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to confirm decisions to lease or renew; support renewal letters and packages.
• Respond quickly to resident and owner concerns, documenting requests and taking action.
