Cardinal Group is seeking a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) for its Berkeley community. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality customer service, assisting residents, and striving for 100% occupancy through retention and pre-leasing activities.

Responsibilities include front desk tasks, lease paperwork, training in Cardinal Way of Leasing, and participation in community events. Evening and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in a degree program with at least 6 credit hours.
• Must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled college/university.
• Must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA; GPA verified annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to Cardinal residents.
• Perform administrative front desk tasks and duties.
• Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork.
• Demonstrate Cardinal Way of Leasing and relevant certifications.
• Assist with planning community events and other projects.
• Be on-call for lock-outs and evening/weekend shifts.
