Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies is seeking a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) to deliver high-quality customer service and support our residents. The role emphasizes occupancy retention, leasing current and future availability, and presenting the community professionally.

You will work about 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, complete lease paperwork, and participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training and community events under the Community Manager's guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program with minimum 6 credit hours.
• Must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, annual verification.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Perform Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Complete lease applications and lease file paperwork.
• Pass Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training as required.
• Greet prospective clients, present the community and leasing terms, and close the lease.
• Maintain lease file documentation and participate in audits.
• Support community events and various projects under the Community Manager.
• On-call responsibilities including lock-outs and nightly rounds; evenings and weekends possible.
