Job summary

Community Teamwork in Lowell, MA is seeking a Program Representative to provide information and assistance to leased housing program participants and owners. You will manage a client caseload and ensure documentation complies with program regulations.

You will communicate via phone, email, or in person, screen eligibility, and handle recurring tasks such as re-certifications, lease-ups, and income adjustments while Upholding CTI values of equity, integrity, and compassion.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent education.
• Familiarity with computers and data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage ongoing projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in math and Microsoft Office or similar technology.
• Sensitivity to the needs of diverse, low income populations and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
• Desire to work with low income, culturally diverse, at-risk families and individuals.
• Must be willing to travel to and work out of the Salem, MA extension office up to 2 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients by telephone, email or in person to provide information about services available or to handle concerns.
• Screen client inquiries for eligibility.
• Check to ensure changes are made to resolve client concerns (e.g., recertifications/lease-ups, income adjustments, family changes).
• Maintain client caseload and documentation ensuring compliance with program regulations.
• Explain program requirements, regulations and procedures to applicants, participants and owners.
• Uphold the values of CTI – Equity, Integrity, Compassion.
