Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for a Lease-Up community in Manhattan Beach, CA. You will oversee technical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and functional, upholding Greystar standards.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, make-ready tasks, vendor coordination, inventory, preventive maintenance, and safety programs, with budgeting input and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications if working on HVAC.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate golf cart if applicable.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform routine maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and prep for leasing.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work of team members and contractors for quality.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with Community Manager on supplies.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policy.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Participate in safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
