Job summary

Greystar is seeking a dynamic Lease-Up Community Manager for a premium 55+ active adult community. You will lead on-site operations, drive leasing velocity, and ensure financial and regulatory compliance from day one.

You will supervise the team, manage budgets, and coordinate with ownership and regional management to achieve occupancy and NOI goals while delivering exceptional resident service and a vibrant community culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of property management, sales, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to resident concerns and resolves issues.
• Prepares financial and operational reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Liaises with ownership, investors, and management teams; provides performance updates.
• Oversees hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development.
• Oversees lease enforcement, inspections, and evictions when needed.
• Conducts daily huddles and regular coaching; aligns team goals.
• Monitors leasing activity and tours; ensures model units are ready.
• Sets rents, collects payments, and prepares monthly financial reports.
• Oversees budget, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness, curb appeal, preventive maintenance.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and manages reputation.
• Oversees capital expenditures and vendor contracts.
• Represents community in outreach; evening/weekend work may be required.
