Job summary

Cable One is seeking a detail‑oriented lease accounting professional to maintain ASC 842 schedules and provide clear financial reporting. You will understand end‑to‑end lease processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and prepare analyses and journal entries monthly.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting and at least one year of general ledger accounting experience; ASC 842 experience is highly preferred. Remote work options available for qualified candidates in eligible states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with practical accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting process and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Performs special projects as requested by leadership.
