Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Training Specialist to drive technical learning for the Trust & Safety organization.

You will translate complex systems into practical learning experiences, author rigorous documentation, and lead AI-enabled enablement initiatives across the learning lifecycle. You will collaborate with engineering SMEs, design hands-on labs, measure impact, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of designing and developing IT or technical training materials and content.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• End-to-end project management experience or ability to prioritize multiple assignments with deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical design approaches, system architectures, and technology trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build technical training that translates complex systems into structured learning, including paths, labs, and job aids.
• Author clear, accurate technical documentation and content validated by engineering SMEs.
• Serve as the technical liaison, translating architecture changes into learning requirements.
• Drive AI enablement by promoting AI-powered content development tools and just-in-time delivery.
• Deploy and scale training through LMS platforms, track metrics, and drive data-driven improvements.
• Define success metrics, measure proficiency gains and adoption, and iterate to improve outcomes.
• Ensure training complies with applicable regulatory requirements and mitigate risks.
• Own end-to-end delivery of technical learning initiatives, prioritizing scope, milestones, and blockers.
