Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an experienced Technical Training Specialist to empower global customers. You will translate complex AI and technical systems into actionable learning, create hands-on labs, and author precise documentation for diverse teams.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with engineering and SMEs, measure learning outcomes, and drive adoption of AI‑powered tools. You’ll own delivery of end-to-end technical enablement across the GL T&S lifecycle from Seattle.

Qualifications

3+ years in technical support or operations environments.
3+ years designing IT training materials.
Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
End-to-end project management experience.
Ability to understand technical design approaches and architectures.

Responsibilities

Develop fluency in systems and tech in your program area; assess risks and trade-offs.
Design and build technical training with hands-on labs and practical exercises.
Author clear technical documentation and SOPs; validate with engineers/SMEs.
Translate architecture changes into learning requirements; simplify complexity.
Drive AI-enabled content development and just-in-time learning.
Deploy and monitor training via LMS; analyze metrics for improvements.
Define success metrics; iterate based on data to close gaps.
Ensure training complies with regulatory requirements and mitigates risks.
Own end-to-end delivery of technical learning initiatives; manage milestones.
Collaborate with engineering, SMEs, WFM, and stakeholders to align enablement.
Communicate status and risk plans to leadership; contribute to reviews.
Mentor teammates and participate in hiring where appropriate.
