Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to design and deliver technical training for a fast-paced enterprise. You will create hands-on labs, translate complex architectures into practical learning, and partner with engineers, SMEs, and WFM to ensure timely enablement.

You will drive adoption of AI-enabled tools, measure learning impact, and maintain high standards for documentation and compliance in a global learning program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical training material design and delivery.
• Experience using data to measure learning outcomes.
• Experience with end-to-end project management and multiple deadlines.
• Understanding of technical design approaches and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical judgment and fluency in program systems; assess risks and trade-offs.
• Design and build technical training with structured learning paths and labs.
• Author and maintain clear technical documentation and SOPs.
• Serve as the technical liaison; translate architecture changes into learning needs.
• Drive AI enablement; promote use of AI-powered content tools and workflows.
• Leverage LMS to deploy, track, and scale training; analyze metrics.
• Define success metrics, measure proficiency gains, and iterate.
• Ensure training compliance with applicable requirements and mitigations.
• Own end-to-end delivery of learning initiatives with milestones.
• Partner with engineering, SMEs, WFM, and stakeholders to align timelines.
• Communicate status, risks, and decisions to leadership; support reviews.
• Contribute to team development and participate in hiring.
