Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Consultant, Learning Business Partner (LBP) to diagnose performance gaps and tailor learning strategies that drive business outcomes. This role applies instructional design, facilitation, and emerging digital tools to design, implement, and sustain effective performance solutions.

The LBP will deliver instructor-led trainings, manage processes, and collaborate with leaders and SMEs to maximize the value employees gain from learning programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in adult learning design
• Strong consulting skills
• Project management experience
• Experience in instructional design
• Experience in virtual and in-person facilitation including Zoom or Teams
• Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences background preferred
• Microsoft Office Proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and deliver quality results within aggressive timeframes
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
• Must work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time Zone

Responsibilities

• Act as a learning and performance consultant to assigned programs by diagnosing business needs and recommending learning solutions.
• Influence learning strategy, scope, prioritization, and timing based on business goals and maturity.
• Provide professional judgment to challenge assumptions and guide decision-making.
• Navigate ambiguity while maintaining focus on outcomes.
• Support adoption, messaging, and feedback loops for new digital and AI-driven learning solutions.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person sessions as part of a broader learning strategy.
