Job summary

GEODIS in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Learning and Organizational Development Advisor to drive learning strategies, coaching, succession planning, training, and engagement initiatives aligned with company standards.

The role partners with operations leaders to design and deliver learning solutions, lead leadership development programs, and leverage metrics to assess program effectiveness in both in-person and virtual settings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in organizational development or related field.
• Experience as internal consultant to director and VP level preferred.
• Familiar with various training methods including self-study, group instruction, role-plays and e-learning.
• Strong consulting and facilitation skills with building relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assess training and development needs across business units.
• Design, develop, and implement learning solutions aligned with company culture and objectives.
• Deliver training in classroom and virtual settings.
• Use metrics to track completion, ensure compliance, and measure effectiveness.
• Partner with HR teams to optimize onboarding and orientation.
• Research training materials and collaborate with external organizations to create programs.
• Lead leadership development initiatives and succession/talent planning activities.
• Support performance management tools, communications, and goal alignment.
• Contribute to change management and project planning for organizational needs.
• Serve as SME and mentor to Training and Development Specialists.
