Job summary

Dover Corporation’s Microwave Products Group in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to partner with Operations, HR, Quality and Engineering to build a robust learning program for the workforce and targeted teams.

You will design instructor-led and e-learning content using tools like Articulate, develop annual plans, monitor training effectiveness, and support safety, quality and Kaizen initiatives across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years in learning and development, training, HR, organizational development or a related field.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective training methods required.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
• Design and develop instructor-led and e-learning programs using instructional design tools.
• Develop and maintain an annual learning and development plan aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate training related to safety, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
