Job summary

Dover Corporation's Microwave Products Group (MPG) in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to build curricula, create materials, and deliver learning programs. You will design instructor-led and e-learning modules, manage learning plans, and monitor outcomes.

You will apply adult-learning principles, coordinate safety and quality training, and contribute to Kaizen/continuous improvement efforts while partnering with operations, HR, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective training methods.
• Strong project-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Preferred experience with a Learning Management System (LMS).

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
• Design instructor-led and e-learning programs (Articulate/Adobe Captivate).
• Develop and maintain annual learning plans aligned with business goals.
• Maintain training records and competency documentation.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate safety, quality, and manufacturing trainings.
