Job summary

Foley Hoag LLP seeks an IT Learning & User Experience Specialist to shape how employees engage with technology across the firm. The role blends training, UX, and digital content creation to make complex systems intuitive and easy to adopt.

You will design learning experiences, including interactive e-learning and microlearning, partnering with IT and support teams to drive adoption and satisfaction across Microsoft 365, iManage, and other platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years delivering technology training in a professional setting.
• Experience creating digital learning content (interactive e-learning, microlearning).
• Strong content creation skills emphasizing clarity and usability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training across firm technology platforms.
• Create e-learning modules, microlearning videos (2–4 min), job aids, on‑demand collections.
• Lead onboarding training for attorneys and staff on firm tools and workflows.
• Develop concise, visually engaging communications to support learning.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to align training with business goals and tech initiatives.
• Maintain and continuously improve training materials for accuracy and usability.
• Deliver one-on-one, small group, and classroom trainings as needed.
• Support the Service Desk by addressing knowledge gaps through training/resources.
• Contribute to security awareness by educating users on policies and best practices.
• Prepare training environments and materials for seamless learning experiences.
• Assist with software testing and user acceptance with IT teams.
• Identify training needs and work with Training Manager to improve UX.
• Advocate for end-user experience across planning, design, testing, rollout, support.
• Analyze tickets and feedback to improve training and support strategies.
