Job summary

Methodist Health System in Dallas is seeking a Learning Content Designer to collaborate with leaders and staff to develop and implement high-quality training content, including e-learning and instructor-led formats, to boost expertise, capability and performance across the organization.

This role focuses on scoping complex projects, designing engaging learning solutions, coaching peers, and measuring outcomes to drive business results. Hours are 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, adult learning, HR development, I/O psychology, business or equivalent.
• 3+ years of instructional design experience.
• Working knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate or Vyond.
• 2+ years of training delivery/facilitation experience preferred.
• Instructional design or e-learning certification (e.g., ATD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scoping and needs analysis for moderate to complex instructional design projects.
• Design and develop instructor-led, e-learning and virtual training.
• Coach, mentor and review teammates’ work to ensure learning content integrity.
• Estimate resource time and effort and manage project plans.
• Design measurement techniques that show the impact of learning solutions on business results.
• Facilitate delivery of learning interventions as needed.
