Job summary

Equinix is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our Dallas team. You will design, develop, and implement learning solutions that support Global Operational Excellence initiatives across the business.

You will partner with SMEs and stakeholders to create engaging content for eLearning, VILT, ILT, and job aids, ensuring SCORM compliance and accessibility. This role emphasizes learner-centered design and measurable outcomes in a matrix global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field with practical experience in ID/L&D.
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design or learning & development.
• Experience applying instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Experience developing learning content with authoring tools (Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Camtasia).
• Familiarity with LMS and SCORM standards.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to identify learning needs and objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain learning content across eLearning, ILT, and virtual formats.
• Translate complex processes into clear, learner‑centered materials and ensure accessibility.
• Support deployment of global training programs and Train‑the‑Trainer activities.
