Job summary

Netsmart is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to craft learner-centered experiences across eLearning, video, simulations, and digital content. You will collaborate with teams to support product adoption, proficiency, and client success while applying ADDIE, Design Thinking, and Agile methods.

The role emphasizes end-to-end design of self-paced courses and assessments, with a strong focus on applying learning science and modern content creation trends like gamification and simulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a learning or technology-related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in instructional design/learning experience design.
• At least 2 years of experience working with course authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, Lectora).
• Deep understanding of learning experience design and instructional design models including ADDIE, SAM, Prototyping, Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design, Agile.
• Demonstrated project management skills leading, designing, and developing large-scale projects with tight deadlines and communicate project updates.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop online learning experiences aligned with learning outcomes and apply learning principles.
• Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and business teams to identify goals and outcomes for learning experiences.
• Develop comprehension checks and assessment activities to gauge retention and impact.
• Drive end-to-end design, development, and implementation of learning materials (courses, videos, simulations, job aids).
