Job summary

DDI | Development Dimensions International is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join the Learning Experience Innovation team. You will create learner-centered, blended and immersive experiences using SAM, AI-assisted workflows, and evidence-based design.

You will collaborate with senior designers, product managers, SMEs, and engineers to prototype, test, and iterate learning solutions that drive measurable behavioural outcomes.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. or higher.
• 1-3 years of experience in digital or blended learning design.
• Experience designing digital or blended learning across e-learning, virtual, simulation, and in-person modalities.
• Uses iterative instructional design methods (SAM, design thinking, agile/sprint-based) to produce learning solutions grounded in behavioural outcomes.
• Proficient with rapid authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise) and AI-assisted content creation/ prototyping.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts, product teams, and stakeholders through structured review cycles.
• Delivers mobile-responsive, accessible digital content.

Responsibilities

• Design and build learner-centered blended learning experiences (instructor-led, e-learning, simulations, multimedia) emphasizing practice over delivery.
• Understand end-user needs and performance context; map to observable behaviours.
• Apply SAM (SAM1 for small projects, SAM2 for complex ones) with iterative feedback loops.
• Use Action Mapping to align design with business goals and performance gaps.
• Collaborate on simulations and scenario-based learning, including branching narratives.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate production and personalise content at scale.
• Produce mobile-first, accessible content and validate across devices.
