Job summary

Paylocity seeks a Learning Experience Designer to create learner-centered blended learning solutions across live, digital, and immersive formats. You will leverage SAM, AI-assisted workflows, and evidence-based practices to shorten development cycles while elevating performance.

In this role you will collaborate with senior designers, PMs, SMEs, and engineers to deliver high-quality content that measures behavioral outcomes and scales across platforms and audiences.

Qualifications

• Design digital and blended learning products across multiple modalities.
• Apply iterative instructional design methods (SAM, design thinking, agile).
• Build interactive content with rapid authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise).
• Collaborate with SMEs, product teams, and stakeholders in structured reviews.
• Portfolio shows learner-centered modules with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and build learner-centered blended learning experiences prioritizing practice and application.
• Understand end user needs and capture the behavioral performance goals.
• Apply SAM and design loops with stakeholder feedback throughout.
• Use Action Mapping to align content with real-world business goals.
• Contribute to simulations, branching scenarios, and leadership learning.
• Leverage AI tooling for content drafting, QA, and personalization at scale.
