Job summary

Star Group is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver and maintain learning programs for our customer service teams at our Newtown, PA footprint. You will partner with business leaders to translate business strategy into learning solutions and accelerate performance through effective training delivery.

You will conduct orientations, tailor programs for diverse learners, and assess training impact across classroom, webinar, and video conference formats.

Qualifications

• 2 years of in-person training experience with demonstrated superior group presentation skills.
• Experience in a Customer Service environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to influence leaders and facilitate cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage large projects and a portfolio of projects.
• Proficient in building working relationships with internal customers and cross-departmentally.

Responsibilities

• Acclimate new hires and conduct orientations; identify training needs.
• Train Customer Service Reps on best practices for servicing customers.
• Provide technical and soft skills training to groups with diverse backgrounds.
• Document findings and develop actionable recommendations to address performance gaps.
• Deliver training via classroom, webinar, and video conference; translate requirements into actionable learning.
• Partner with leaders to develop learning solutions for new and existing programs.
• Assess training effectiveness to ensure skills transfer; evaluate ongoing programs for changes.
• Manage training calendars and registrations via the Learning Management System; prepare materials.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
