STAR GROUP LP in Newtown, PA is seeking a dynamic Training Specialist to deliver and maintain learning programs across our teams. You will partner with business leaders to accelerate performance by aligning solutions with the business strategy.

You will train representatives to provide exceptional customer service, with strong communication and instructional delivery in classroom, webinars, and video conference formats. A collaborative, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualificações

• 2 years of in-person training experience with demonstrated superior group presentation skills.
• Experience in a Customer Service environment.
• Ability to design training methods for varying learning styles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, including cross-functional facilitation.
• Proven ability to build relationships with internal customers.
• Capacity to manage large projects and a portfolio of projects.
• Experience in assessment of training effectiveness.
• Experience with training materials and curricula design is a plus.
• Proficient with MAC and PC; Microsoft Office applications.

We are a leading home services provider and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual who will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of learning programs. This position reports to the Sales Training Manager and in this role you will partner with business leaders in several functions, to accelerate stronger business performance by providing learning solutions that are aligned to the business strategy.

You will be empowered to do what it takes to help deliver learning solutions and programs in various areas of our footprint, training our representatives so they may provide exceptional customer service first and foremost.

Responsibilities:

As a Training Specialist, you will work directly with our employees to further their learning development, therefore, strong communication skills are a must.

Specific duties include:

• Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions; Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
• Responsible for training new hire and existing Customer Service Reps on the best ways to service our customers via tailored training programs
• Provide technical and soft skills training to groups with a high diversity of backgrounds and education levels
• Effectively identify training needs; Document findings and develop actionable recommendations to address performance gaps
• Deliver training utilizing structured effective instructional methods; facilitate learning via classroom, webinar, and video conference
• Translate requirements into training that will groom employees for superior performance and the next step of their career path
• Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to develop learning solutions for new and existing programs
• Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior
• Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
• Manage training calendars & class registrations via Learning Management System. Prepare classroom facilities and training materials, handouts, aids and manuals for training sessions
• Carries out other duties as assigned

Requirements:

As a Training Specialist you must be professional and possess the ability to function equally well in both a team environment and independently. You must also be highly detail oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and active listening skills as well as the ability to interact effectively cross-departmentally.

Specific qualifications include:

• 2 years of in-person training experience with demonstrated superior group presentation skills
• Experience in a Customer Service environment
• Must be attuned to the importance of recognizing varying learning styles and designing training methods accordingly
• Strong leadership and communication skills, including proven ability to influence leaders and facilitate cross-functional teams
• Proficient in building strong working relationships with internal customers and positively influence key constituents
• Capacity to lead and manage large projects and a portfolio of projects
• Ability to provide assessment of training effectiveness
• Previous design and development training materials and curricula a plus
• Accustomed to working in a fast paced environment demanding adherence to process and attention to detail
• MAC and PC Proficient, Microsoft Office including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Valid Driver's license with the ability to meet the Company's motor vehicle policy
