Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Richmond, UT is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design, implement, deliver, and administer employee education programs.

You will analyze training needs, develop programs, manage LMS content, and partner with HR and plant leadership to drive competency and safety training across the site.

This full-time role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Education, Training & Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a training coordination or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and LMS or other training software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Customer service orientation, with a proactive approach to meeting the needs of internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety regulations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, delivers, and administers initial and ongoing employee education.
• Analyzes training needs to develop new training programs or modify existing ones.
• Manages training materials and LMS content across the site.
• Partners with Department Managers and Supervisors on training needs.
• Develops and delegates OJT checklists for new hires and long-term associates.
• Creates and maintains SOPs for major equipment and processes.
• Evaluates and tracks SOCs for major equipment to guide improvements.
• Drives turnover reduction strategies through training initiatives.
