Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate training initiatives that advance employee skills and organizational performance.

The role partners with production leaders, SMEs, and OJT trainers to build onboarding, qualification, and career progression programs, while maintaining accurate training records and compliance with FAA Part 145 and other standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Learning and Development, HR, or related field; or two years in manufacturing training.
• Experience creating and evaluating on-the-job training in manufacturing.
• Designing and delivering training for adult learners and young adults.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with diverse teams.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent English communication across all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to support all shifts and adjust schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety protocols and company safety policies.
• Create and support structured OJT programs with production leaders, SMEs, and trainers.
• Design, develop, coordinate and deliver training for onboarding, OJT, leadership, technical and professional development.
• Partner with managers and SMEs to assess training needs and develop aligned plans.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend curriculum improvements.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with FAA Part 145 and other standards.
• Monitor industry trends to enhance learning initiatives.
• Support employee development, career progression, and succession planning.
• Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS).
