Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach, CA, seeks a Learning & Development Manager to lead the learning strategy and LMS operations in a fast-paced aerospace setting. You will build programs, collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and compliance teams, and scale training across the organization.

Key focus: LMS ownership, program development, vendor management, onboarding and training compliance, with occasional travel, supporting growth. Office-based role with opportunity for advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or a related HR function.
• Demonstrated experience selecting, implementing, or administering an LMS.
• Demonstrated experience building training programs or L&D capabilities from the ground up.
• Strong project management and stakeholder-management skills.
• Demonstrated experience with training compliance, reporting, and/or audit readiness.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and HRIS/LMS platforms
• High school diploma, or GED certificate equivalent

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the company’s LMS, including course assignment, enrollment, completion tracking, and reporting
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Mission Management, EHS, Security, Quality, Legal, and People teams to identify training needs and develop company-wide and role-specific programs
• Develop and maintain onboarding, compliance, safety, technical, and professional-development training
• Manage third-party training vendors, including selection, scheduling, delivery, and budget
• Establish training policies, compliance tracking, reporting, and metrics while continuously improving programs as the company scales
