Job summary

Center for Justice Innovation in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to design and deliver programs (virtual and on-site) that help staff develop skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel. You will manage the L&D infrastructure end to end, from needs assessment to platform administration, partnering with departments to close learning gaps.

Qualifications

• Experience designing curricula for adult learners across formats (in-person, virtual, asynchronous).
• Experience administering an LMS.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Certification or formal coursework in instructional design, adult learning, coaching, or facilitation.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic framework and direct the development of key learning solutions (workshops, cohorts, blended learning).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and clarity.
• Manage compliance training for staff across the Center.
