Job summary

Center for Justice Innovation in Midtown Manhattan seeks a Learning and Development Manager to design and deliver programs that build staff skills, knowledge, and confidence. You will oversee the full learning lifecycle from needs assessment to platform administration, collaborating with departments to close identified skill gaps.

The role requires strong facilitation, instructional design, and project management skills, with hybrid work and on-site requirements in NYC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree required with five years of learning and development experience.
• Experience designing curricula for adult learners across formats (in-person, virtual, asynchronous).
• Experience administering an LMS and managing learning platforms.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Certification or coursework in instructional design, adult learning, coaching, or facilitation.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic framework for learning solutions (workshops, programs, blended learning) for all staff levels.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy.
• Manage compliance training for staff across the Center.
• Create facilitator guides for learning programs.
