Job summary

APCO Worldwide in Washington, DC invites applications for a Learning & Development Internship for Winter/Spring ’27. The paid internship provides hands-on experience in instructional design, strategy and communications within a global firm.

Responsibilities include supporting global learning programs, planning calendars, LMS management, and internal communications, with a 40-hour week and a hybrid office/remote schedule. Compensation is $18.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or senior in college and major in HR, business or learning tech preferred.
• Collaborative team player who can work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information at all times.
• Strong attention to organizational and grammatical detail.
• Experience with Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Available to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support Learning & Development in programs, research and data analytics.
• Assist in planning and managing calendars for global learning programs.
• Help manage APCO’s global learning management system.
• Contribute to internal comms for Learning & Development.
• Perform administrative tasks: data entry, digital filing, contracts/POs, invoices.
• Participate in research and analysis on Learning Development projects.
