Job summary

The Heritage Group is seeking a well-organized intern to support its Learning and Development Team in Indianapolis. The role focuses on transforming internal employees’ training through digital content, LMS administration, and instructional design best practices.

You will work closely with the Learning and Development Manager and LMS Administrator in a supportive, hands-on environment. Responsibilities include assisting with on-site and virtual training, helping design and update learning

Qualifications

• Currently a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Instructional Design, Communications or related field.
• Preferred 1+ years Marketing and Social Media experience.
• Familiarity with eLearning tools (Articulate, Rise) is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Assist Learning and Development Manager in designing and delivering training initiatives.
• Support on-site and virtual professional development sessions, including materials, room setup, and catering.
• Assist in designing and developing digital learning content (eLearning, guides, job aids).
• Gain understanding of LMS Admin responsibilities and support LMS reporting functions.
• Attend L&D team meetings and trainings and participate in content reviews.
