The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is offering a Spring 2027 Training & Professional Development Intern position. You’ll join the Human Resources and Organizational Development division, supporting SOP development, LMS maintenance, and training initiatives for staff across the museum.

This on-site, part-time internship emphasizes initiative, organization, and effective communication with a diverse staff, including language-learning resources and knowledge management projects.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior in college.
• Initiative-taking, highly organized, and able to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and comfortable using tech for research.
• Strong people skills for interviewing staff across the museum.
• Part-time position, about 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Update and create SOPs for internal processes like new staff orientation and LMS management.
• Analyze annual training survey data and compile department reports.
• Support taskforce work, including training materials for language learning and media studies.
• Help promote training by organizing a communication board and information station.
• Interview staff about duties, competencies, and skill requirements.
