Job summary

CABVI seeks a Director of Learning and Development to design and implement training programs that boost agency and individual performance. The role liaises between training, subject‑matter experts, and business units to deliver impactful curricula.

You will identify needs, develop curricula, monitor outcomes, and manage training logistics while engaging employees and driving continuous improvement. In-house role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education or related field.
• Minimum of ten years proven experience in a training capacity.
• Formal training certificates or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs through needs analysis with management.
• Develop and implement training curriculums and refresher classes with subject‑matter experts.
• Monitor training effectiveness and track metrics on trainee performance and attendance.
• Coordinate logistics of training including scheduling, room reservations, and trainer scheduling.
• Engage trainees and keep programs vibrant and engaging.
• Adapt to changing needs and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
