Job summary

EMC is offering a Learning, Culture & Inclusion Intern role based in the Des Moines metro with a hybrid work option. You will support learning programs, coordinate events, and help with culture and inclusion initiatives while gaining hands-on experience across L&D and culture teams.

Students pursuing HR, organizational leadership, or related fields will build skills in program coordination, learning operations, and documentation. Strong communication and curiosity are key to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Business, Communications, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher

Responsibilities

• Support instructor‑led and virtual learning experiences through session preparation, participant support, technology coordination, and light facilitation.
• Coordinate learning programs, including course setup, scheduling, communications, enrollment, attendance tracking, and related administrative activities.
• Maintain learning systems, records, documentation, reporting, and course information, including support for Sana and other learning technologies.
• Create and maintain SOPs, job aids, checklists, and other resources that support learning processes and technology adoption.
• Support cross‑functional projects and programs through coordination of timelines, logistics, communications, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities.
• Assist with Business Resource Group (BRG) initiatives, events, and leadership activities that strengthen culture, connection, belonging, and employee engagement.

The Learning, Culture & Inclusion Intern will support initiatives that strengthen the team member experience through learning, development, culture, and inclusion. This role will work across the Learning & Development and Culture & Inclusion teams, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to programs, processes, and key team priorities. The intern will have opportunities to build skills in program coordination, facilitation, learning operations, technology, process documentation, and the broader team member experience.
