Job summary

EMC Insurance is seeking a Human Resources Intern for a hybrid role in the Des Moines metro. You will support Talent Acquisition and Compensation initiatives, assist with candidate sourcing and pre-screening, and help with communications to ensure a positive candidate experience.

You will transfer job descriptions into Workday and gain exposure to EMC's culture, processes, and HR functions while developing key skills in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in business, HR, or finance.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support Talent Acquisition and Compensation initiatives within EMC HR.
• Assist with candidate sourcing, pre-screening, and communications for internships and entry-level roles.
• Transfer job descriptions into Workday and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with recruitment marketing and employer branding activities.
• Learn EMC culture and HR processes while supporting HR functions.
