Job summary

EMC is seeking an internship/entry-level support role in Talent Acquisition and Compensation to help sourcing, screening, and candidate communications. You will transfer job descriptions to Workday, support HR communications, and learn EMC's culture and processes in a hybrid Des Moines metro setting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a major in business, HR, or finance with a 3.0+ GPA, possessing strong Excel/Word skills, and excellent communication, organization, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supports Talent Acquisition and Compensation initiatives within EMC's corporate human resources area.
• Supports candidate sourcing and talent pipeline development for internship, early-career and entry-level positions, including reviewing resumes and assisting with candidate pre-screening.
• Contributes to recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives and helps manage candidate communications to create a positive candidate experience.
• Transfers job descriptions from Word documents into Workday, ensuring information is entered accurately and consistently.
• Supports communications related to the job description system of record transition effort.
• Learns EMC's culture, business processes and human resources functions.
