Job summary

HMTX Industries in the United States seeks a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to lead a warehouse team, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate inventory movement, while partnering with management on staffing and continuous improvement.

You will oversee receiving, picking, shipping, inventory control, and cycle counts, train staff on forklift safety, and apply LEAN/WMS best practices, reporting operational data to leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• LEAN principles applied to warehouse operations and continuous improvement.
• Proven leadership and ability to train, develop, and motivate a team.
• Experience training staff on forklift safety and operation of warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, safety and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with WMS, inventory systems, and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff and staffing agency teams.
• Monitor staffing levels and allocate resources to meet demand and minimize waste.
• Oversee receiving, picking, shipping, inventory control, and priority orders.
• Ensure forklift safety and equipment maintenance; train employees accordingly.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety procedures.
• Support inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with office and warehouse teams to resolve customer issues.
• Provide performance feedback and conduct evaluations; address disciplinary matters.
• Prepare, analyze, and present operation data to leadership.
